About Steve
I was diagnosed with ADHD 11 years ago, and it felt like a revelation, suddenly there was a name for the way my mind worked. Alongside the relief came the usual testing, questioning and a prescription for medication. It helped me focus, but it also brought anxiety, headaches and other unwelcome side effects. And, in true ADHD fashion, I forgot the follow-up appointment anyway!
That was the moment I realised I needed to understand my mind, not just medicate it. I turned to Buddhism, mindfulness, and breathwork and gradually things began to shift. My ADHD symptoms softened, I felt calmer in my day-to-day life and I started to see how powerful simple regulation tools could be.
Before becoming a coach, I lived several creative lives: commercial property agent, artist manager in the music industry, A&R scout, radio presenter, filmmaker, stand-up comic and a one-man production company (twice). Every chapter taught me something about people, attention, creativity and how to stay centred in chaotic environments.
In 2023, I retrained as a mindfulness and breathwork coach because I wanted to help other ADHD minds feel more grounded and less overwhelmed. In 2024, I launched Breathe With ADHD and have since supported families one-to-one, facilitated workshops and delivered sessions for organisations including the NHS and Netflix. My work has also been featured by the BBC and the Daily Mail.
I’m passionate about helping busy-brained children and their parents build practical, playful tools to handle big feelings - gently, without shame or pressure. I use a blend of breathwork, creative regulation tools, humour and connection to help children feel safe and capable and to help parents feel more supported and less alone.
If you’d like to explore what your child needs most, I’m here to help.
