Portrait of Steve

About Steve

I first got diagnosed with ADHD 11 years ago and it felt like a revelation, a burden that had been lifted - a reason why I was the way that I was.

After some psychometric testing and a grilling from the Doctor, I was prescribed ritalin and sent upon my merry way; with the promise of a follow up appointment.

Of course I forgot the follow up appointment. And whilst ritalin helped me focus, it also gave me anxiety, headaches and other not so fun side effects. And so began my journey into understanding my mind, which led me to learn about and integrate Buddhism and mindfulness into my life. Gradually I noticed my ADHD symptoms reduce and felt calmer in my day to day life.

Over the years I’ve had a wide variety of careers that have included the following:

Commercial property agent, artist manager in the music industry, A&R scout at record labels, radio presenter, founder of a one man music video production company, founder of a one man content production company, which led me to: acting, performing stand up comedy, writing and directing short films and finally developing TV sitcoms.

At the start of 2023 I decided to retrain as a mindfulness coach and breathwork facilitator with a view to helping fellow ADHDers feel more centered, calm and focused.

Testimonials

  • “Steve will take your breath away…In the best possible way! Steve is an ‘OG’ ADHDer so he’s got decades of experience trying to manage the cacophony of the dopamine-deficient mind, and knows like we do how hard and frustrating it can sometimes be to try and practice mindfulness. I’ve done Wim Hof breathing and Pranayama before but this felt way more powerful somehow. With a soothing gentle tone, Steve guides you through the different waves of breath work. I lost all track of time but in what was maybe 30 minutes he took my mind from a tsunami of thousand thoughts… to a glacial lake of calm. It left my body feeling energised, my brain clear-thinking and me overall, a whole other level of calm. ADHD laughs in the face of regular meditation. This is different. Try it; it really will help you close down some tabs.”

  • “This was my first breathwork experience. Having met Steve a few times before the session, I already had a good feeling about him as a person, but as a teacher, or leader, in breathwork he exceeded my expectations. He understood I was a beginner and adjusted the session so I would get the most out of it based on my experience. His soothing voice was exactly what I needed. The experience from the session itself was something I haven’t experienced before. I felt calm, warm, high from oxygen and afterwards my brain was razor sharp - something I love as an entrepreneur! Later that night I slept better than I have in a long time”.

  • “My 1-1 Breathwork session facilitated by Steve was an incredible experience. I felt incredibly supported throughout, which allowed my true feelings to come through unhindered by anxiety. Steve chose the perfect combination of music, soothing words and guidance, to help my body bring forth natural subconscious emotions of elation and massive gratitude to mark off the end of a significant period of positive change in my life. I would massively recommend Steve to anyone looking for a brilliant guide on a breathwork journey”.
